The suspect attempted to purchase merchandise with fraudulent currency. Nezih Irge, DOB 5/23/1991, was arrested on the above charges.

1045Central: Arrest - DOP/ Arson / O&R with a Deadly Weapon / Ex-Felon Failure to Register@400 block North Virginia Street

Officers responded to a report of an armed unwanted person inside a business who was damaging equipment and attempting to light items on fire. The suspect was taken into custody as he exited the business. David Saunders, DOB 11/27/1968, was arrested on the above charges.

The suspect was riding a bicycle and pulled up to the window of a business. He then produced a gun and threatened the victims before fleeing. The suspect is described as: Unknown race male, LSW a white jacket with a hood.

0046                       Central: Bomb Threat Arrest@1000 blk E 4th St

Officers responded to the listed location on the report of a possible bomb threat.  The caller stated he had been talking to a dancer who claimed there was a bomb in the building and it was going to detonate. Officers responded and learned they had recently escorted a male off the property who was upset.  Officers were able to identify the caller through investigation and responded to his residence where he was ultimately arrested.

0540                       Central: Disturbing the Peace / O&R @500 blk Lake St.

Officers initially responded on report of a domestic disturbance, and made contact with the male that was reported to be involved.  After the initial investigation, there was no victim located.  Several other residents reported that this male was continually creating a loud disturbance outside of his room, which he continued to do in the presence of the officers.  The motel manager requested to file a criminal complaint for disturbing the peace.  When the officers attempted to take him into custody, he fought back, grabbing at the officers, and locking his legs into a nearby railing.  He was eventually taken into custody and transported to jail.

1555                       Central: PSMV, Ex-felon possession of firearm, Fraud Lab @2500 blk E 2nd St

Patrol Officers received a lo jack hit for a stolen vehicle in the area of Kietzke Ln and E 2nd St. which led them to the area of a nearby casino. Officers located the occupied stolen vehicle in the parking lot and detained the occupants. During the investigation it was learned the vehicle was stolen in California during a possible armed robbery last night. Inside the vehicle officers located a handgun. During a search of the vehicle a fraud lab was located

2033                       North: Discharge of Firearm/Intox in possession of firearm@2300 blk Paradise Dr

Officers responded to multiple reports of shots fired. Officers located casings at the apartment complex with no bullet strikes.  Officers on scene met with witnesses who provided a good description of the shooter. Officers in the area observed a subject matching the description given, entering the passenger side of a dark pickup truck.  Officers conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle, ultimately located two firearms.

0030North: Attempted Robbery / BDW, Knife@500 block Keystone Ave.

The victim was approached by unknown suspects who attacked him and attempted to steal his money. During the alteration the victim was stabbed in the arm. The victim's injury is non-life threatening. The suspects are described as: #1 W/M/A, 5'5" tall, blonde hair, LSW dark clothing. #2 B/M/A, 6'3" tall, with a beard

0338Central: Arrest - O&R / Battery by Prisoner @600 block East 2nd Street

Officers were taking the suspect into custody for Battery when he refused to identify himself, spat on them and kicked the inside of the patrol vehicle. Bobby Fair, DOB 8/10/1979, was arrested on the above charges.

Officers located a stolen vehicle and attempted to make contact with the suspect who was standing near the vehicle. The suspect fled on foot but was located a short distance away. Anthony Jones, DOB 10/9/1989, was arrested on the above charge.

2123Central: Arrest - ADW, Vehicle / PSMV / O&R / DOP@Sage St. & Commercial

Officers were investigating a report of a DOP when the suspect returned. He was in a vehicle driving recklessly and then attempted to strike an employee with his vehicle before fleeing. Officers located the suspect a shot distance away and conducted a stop when the suspect then attempted to flee on foot. Officers also discovered the vehicle had been stolen. Boyed Brumfield, DOB 9/17/1986, was arrested on the above charges.

The victims and suspects had just met up when one of the suspects produced a gun and demanded their property. When one victim refused and attempted to flee the suspect fired hitting him in the hand. The second victim complied and the suspects fled with the property. The victim's injury is non-life threatening. The suspects are described as: #1 W/M/A, mid teens, LSW all black clothing and a black hoodie. #2 H/M/A, mid teens, 5'10" tall, LSW a red shirt.

1600South: Arrest - PCS/Poss. Stolen Firearm/Poss. Stolen Property/Poss. of Paraphernalia@3000 block South Virginia Street

Officers responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle in the area that also matched the description of a vehicle connected to a previous crime. Officers conducted a stop and during the investigation they located firearms and narcotics inside the vehicle. Nicole Wengert, DOB 1/7/1988, was arrested on the above charges.

The victim had attempted to stop the suspect from leaving without paying for merchandise. The suspect then dropped the merchandise but produced a knife and swung it at the victim before fleeing to a waiting vehicle. The suspect is described as: Native American male, mid fifties, LSW a gray knit hat and dark clothing. The suspect vehicle is described as: Blue two door Hyundai.

The suspect approached the employee, made references to being armed, and demanded money. When the employee refused the suspect fled. There was no reported loss and the suspect is described as: W/M/A, mid-forties, 5'8"-6' tall, 160-200 lbs., slightly bald, LSW a brown puffy jacket and red gloves.
