Offices responded to a report of a battery and located a victim with head and facial injuries. The victim was transported to a local hospital with severe injuries. A witness reported that the victim and suspect were involved in a verbal altercation that turned physical when the suspect produced a gun and pistol whipped the victim before fleeing. The suspect is described as: B/M/A, grey goatee, LSW green sweatshirt, blue jeans, white shoes, has a black backpack.

A witness reported the victim and suspect were involved in a verbal disturbance that turned physical when the suspect grabbed a rock and threw it at the victim striking him in the head. Officers originally responded to a report of a person in custody for trespassing, but soon discovered the suspect was wanted for a previous crime.
