11/30/2020

Friday, November 27, 2020
1000                       South: Domestic Battery (2nd)/Child Endangerment (x3)@3100 blk S. Virginia St

Arrested: PALMER, Thomas

Charges: Domestic Battery (2nd), Child Endangerment (x3), Possession of forged instrument.

2226                       North : ADW on officer, O&R w/deadly weapon, eluding, GTA @Sutro/Selmi

An RPD officer observed a sedan traveling north on Sutro near Wedekind at a high rate of speed. The officer attempted to initiate a traffic stop. The driver of the vehicle slowed down when he saw the lights behind him but continued north on Sutro crossing McCarran. The vehicle ultimately stopped at the dead end on Sutro. The suspect began to drive towards the officers’ patrol car forcing the officer to pull to the right to avoid being struck.  The suspect continued towards the officer and intentionally struck the patrol car with his vehicle

The suspect then fled and was pursued by Officers until he turned onto N. Virginia St and then onto Sierra St and the pursuit was canceled. One of the officers observed the suspects vehicle headlights loop around on Sierra and believed the suspect had possibly crashed. Upon checking for a crash the suspect was seen fleeing southbound on foot.  After a short foot pursuit the suspect was taken into custody.  It was learned the suspect had lost control of the vehicle but did not collide with anything. The vehicle was determined to have been recently stolen. No Officer injuries were reported.

The suspect was being issued a citation for Trespassing. Instead of signing the citation the suspect fled on foot and was taken into custody a short distance away without incident. The suspect continued to be uncooperative.

1204                       Central: Battery @Record St/4th Street

The suspect became upset with the victim, charged him and pushed him off of his Segway. The victim fell to the ground and the suspect fled the area. Officers located the suspect who was taken into custody without incident.

1705                       Central: Trespass/PCS/O&R @600 blk N Virginia Street

Officers were called to the above location on an unwanted subject. Upon arrival, officers made contact with the defendant who appeared to be intoxicated and refused to leave.  Officers located a small amount of meth on the defendant during a search incident to arrest. The defendant was placed into the rear of a marked patrol vehicle, was able to slip her cuffs and open the door using the outside handle.  Officers grabbed the defendant as she attempted to flee and she kicked one of the officers in the leg

2027                       Central: Home Invasion@100 blk Park St.

Officers responded to listed location on report of a home invasion. Upon arrival Officers learned that the suspect was refused entry into the apartment by the residents. The suspect then kicked in the door which was dead bolted and entered, damaging the door and door frame. While inside he advanced on the residents aggressively while threatening them. The residents left the apartment and called the police. Officers located the suspect inside the apartment and arrested him.

2117                       South: Domestic Disturbance/Shot Fired@600 blk Plumas St

Officers responded to a domestic disturbance with a shot fired in the residence. Investigation revealed the suspect, and his adult brother, reside with their mother. The group engaged in verbal argument and when the brother and mother were in the bedroom, the suspect said he was "going to pop off a round" and did so in the living room. The round went through a closet, wall, and into the kitchen cabinet. The round did not exit the residence. The suspect taken into custody for discharge a firearm from/in a structure.

2258                       North: BDW Stabbing@600 blk Denslowe Dr

Officers responded to the listed location on a report of BDW stabbing in which the suspect was still on scene.  Upon arrival Officers located the suspect sitting on the couch.  The suspect was detained and the victim half was found to have two stab wounds, which were determined to be non-life threatening.  The suspect was arrested for BDW and two unrelated warrants.

0016South: Arrest - Petit Larceny@1000 block Capital Blvd.

Officers responded to an alarm and discovered the suspects removing items from the lot. Damon Williams, DOB 7/19/1967, was arrested on the above charge. Dustin Lawrence, DOB 2/4/1980, was arrested for Trespassing & Petit Larceny.

1003South: BDW, Stabbing / Robbery@400 block Linden Street

The victim and suspect were involved in a physical confrontation when the victim was stabbed in the abdomen. The suspect fled with the victim's belongings but the belongings were located a short time later. The victim's injury is non-life threatening. The suspect is described as: W/M/A, LSW a blue jacket, blue pants and possibly black shoes and a hat.

Steven Milin, DOB 7/28/1988, was arrested on the above charges.

Two suspects entered the business, stole merchandise and then fled to a waiting vehicle. Total loss is unknown. The suspects are described as: #1 W/F/A, 5'10" tall, curly blonde hair, LSW dark colored jeans, gray hoodie with an unknown logo on it. #2 Native or Dark skinned male adult, over 6' tall, heavy build, LSW dark colored sweat pants, dark colored hoodie and dark colored beanie. #3 no description at this time. Suspect Vehicle: Black, 2019 Nissan, 4 door sedan, CA License plate.

Officers observed the suspects acting suspiciously as they exited a vehicle. They made contact with the suspects and during the investigations located drugs and a weapon in the vehicle. The driver, Latrell Speech, DOB 12/13/1980, was arrested on the above charges.

1812South: ADW, Firearm@700 block Keele Drive

The suspect was walking a dog when he suddenly produced a gun and threatened the victim who was walking in the area before fleeing. The suspect is described as: W/M/A, mid fifties, 5'9" tall, skinny build, LSW a dark brown jacket and dark jeans.

1834Central: Arrest - Battery / ADW, Firearm / O&R @400 block Willow Street

The victim and suspects were involved in an altercation when one suspect produced a gun. The suspects then fled but were located a short time later by Officers. Carlos Guerrero, DOB 10/28/1999, was arrested on the above charges. Two other suspects, both juveniles, were arrested for MIC.

Officers observed an occupied vehicle with fictitious plates and conducted a stop. During the investigation they located controlled substances inside the vehicle. Lewis Dishman, DOB 9/11/1982, and Brandi Adkins, DOB 12/31/1971, were arrested on the above charges.

The victim was sitting in his vehicle when he was approached by the suspect who produced a gun and demanded his property. When the victim replied that he had no property the suspect fled to a waiting vehicle. The suspect is described as: H/M/A, 5'8" tall, 140 lbs., LSW a hoodie. The suspect vehicle is only described as: an older Gray colored, 2 door, passenger car.
