Officers responded to a report of subject who was on the ground after being involved in an altercation. When they arrived the subject fled but was later located with a stab wound. Officers responded to reports of shots fired and discovered several bullet holes in the door of a room and one round had entered another room. There were no reported injuries and the investigation is ongoing.

The victim saw a suspect approaching his vehicle with some sort of tool in his hand, when he yelled at the suspect a second suspect exited a waiting vehicle and began walking towards him. The victim stated he had already called the police and both suspects fled. The suspects are described as: #1W/M/A, early twenties, brown hair, heavy build, LSW an orange and brown jacket. #2 W/M/A, late teens, 5’ 4” tall, medium build, LSW blue jeans and a black jacket.

On Saturday, October 22, 2016 downtown Reno was filled with Zombies and many other Halloween characters patronizing businesses for the Reno Zombie Crawl.
The Zombie Crawl invites tourists and residents to come to downtown Reno dressed as Zombies to enjoy the services and products of established businesses. The Reno Police Department estimated about 15,000 event participants this year.

Just before 1:00 am on Sunday October 23, 2016 Reno Police heard gunshots in the area of Douglas Alley and N Virginia Street in Downtown Reno. Officers responded and located a male and female who had been shot. Both victims were transported to the hospital where they are being treated for their injuries.
A third shooting victim also arrived at a local hospital and is also being treated for his injuries.
This is still an active investigation and more information will be forthcoming. The case is being investigated by the Reno Police Robbery Homicide Unit with the assistance from the Regional Gang Unit.

Reno Fire personnel observed the suspect driving a vehicle with a subject being dragged behind it. The suspect then pulled into a lot, exited the vehicle and punched a subject he passed on the sidewalk. While Reno Fire personnel were detaining the suspect he punched one of them in the face. The victims were confronted by the suspects when one of the suspects produced a gun and demanded their property. A physical altercation then ensued and the suspects fled. The suspects are described as: #1 B/M/A, early twenties, medium length dread locks, LSW a black hoodie and black pants. #2 B/M/A, early twenties, short/buzzed hair, LSW grey clothing.

Officers responded to a subject who was knocking on a resident’s door and discovered the subject had been beaten and was suffering from head injuries. There is no suspect description at this time.

The armed suspects entered the store and demanded the money from the register. They then fled to a waiting vehicle. Total loss has not been disclosed. The suspects are described as: #1 W/M/A, 5’8” tall, LSW a black hooded sweatshirt and dark pants. #2 W/M/A, 5’8” tall, LSW a black jacket over a gray hooded shirt or sweatshirt, black pants and dark boots.

The victim was attacked from behind by the suspect who began to batter him and then demanded his wallet. The victim resisted and began to call for help and the suspect fled.
The suspect is described as: W/M/A, mid twenties to mid thirties, full beard, LSW a black shirt, dark shorts and a black baseball hat.

0340 North: Arrest - ADW, Firearm / Discharge Firearm into a Vehicle @ Stead & Silver Lake.
The victim and suspect were involved in a verbal argument while in line at a drive thru window. When the victim vehicle exited the suspect vehicle followed and a passenger in that vehicle fired a shot into the victim’s vehicle. The victim was not injured and the suspect was located a short time later. Maurice Jennings, DOB 6/4/1994, was arrested on the above charges.
